Q01: How many students are there in your school?
In Indiranagar, we have 150 students. In Devanahalli School, we have registered more than 300 students, but regular attendance centers around 200. At Arkavathy Layout, there are only 15 children.
Q02: Do you charge any fees?
No. It is 100% free from nursery to post-graduation.
Q03: How do you fund them? Do you get any aid from the government or foreign agencies?
No. We don't get any aid from anyone. We run on public donations and the good will of people. Please visit our We Need Your Help page.
Q04: To feed, clothe and educate 500 students everyday is a big task. How do you manage?
We pray and we have our faith. Aid comes to us in the form of people like you who help us with money, materials, resources and their voluntary time. I like to believe that it is God, I and You who run the show down here.
Q05: Do you face financial problems?
ALWAYS! It is a hand to mouth existence but we have survived eight and a half years. Help is always welcome in all forms.
Q06: Suppose government agencies or foreign agencies decide to give you aid, will you accept?
No. We believe in making people share. We want people to participate in this struggle.
Q07: Can I ask you a personal question? Are you married?
Yes. I am married to this karma yoga and happy to have my 500 kids. One more marriage is difficult.
Q08: What do you get by doing this work?
I don't know why I was born in this world. I did not put any application to be born, neither was I consulted before being born. All this is "maya" and we are only playing our parts.
Q09: If there is a financial crisis and you have to shut down the school, what will you do?
That will be my last journey. If I have to shut down, I will follow the Samurai code of committing HARAKIRI
Q10: Do you accept excess food from function?
Yes. We do accept excess food from functions, weddings, festivals, birthday parties and from your homes as well.
Q11: We heard that due to cases of food poisoning, you stopped taking food from outside. Is that right?
No. It is not right. So please ignore such rumors.

Q06: Why do I have to register in order to donate?
You need to register so that we can send you a receipt. Registration ensures you enter it just once.

You have complete control over your personal information on the website. You can change all your personal data - name, address, phone numbers and email ID. However, you cannot change your user ID and password.
